Call for Artists for the 2nd Annual Utah Local Festival of Arts

Generation A is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Utah Local Festival of Arts (UTLFA) October 9, 2010. We love Utah and like the diverse beauty of the state’s landscapes, Utah is also home to an amazing range of creative and talented artists. Generation A wants to celebrate our local talent and UTLFA is the place!

Our festival is unique in that we accept and promote artists exclusively from Utah. And with this unique group, our venue is equally unique—the Salt Lake Masonic Temple. UTLFA is looking for visual, dance, music, and cultural heritage to participate in our festival. Mosaic Art Class - Pioneer Craft House

Learn the basics of materials, tools, and traditions of mosaic art while creating works of mosaic art of your own, such as decorated mirrors, picture frames, or stepping stones.

Beginners, ages 14 and up.

Four week course:
Wednesdays September 8,15,22,29 6:30-8:00pm

Tuition: $75 (INCLUDES MATERIALS!)

Visual Art Institute Fall Semester Classes

Registration has begun for fall semester!

-Classes run 15 weeks, August 30-December 11. Tuition is $285.00

-Classes are held in two locations. Sugarhouse, 1838 S 1500 E, and Sandy @ Eastmont Middle (10100 S 1300 E).

A winner will be selected by a committee and if the artist is willing we will use the image as the center of the IAD logo for 2011.
